Adult Winter Combo League Click here for the Combo District Championship schedule! Captains - review the season-end status of your team deposit account here. Please report any discrepancies promptly to Dave Pullen so that refund checks can be issued!
Message from MCTA Board and Management: We recognize that most players are not pleased with the 90-minute match format used in the Fall season, and MCTA is committed to return to its traditional, 2-hour timed match format as soon as court availability permits. However, we now do not anticipate the renovated Wheaton Indoor Tennis facility re-opening before Fall, 2008. As a result, we are compelled to continue the 90-minute match format for the Winter Combo league season. We greatly appreciate your continued support and understanding of the scheduling challenges we face. MCTA will keep you posted on developments and wish you continued pleasure with the great sport we love. Player Deletion Policy and Procedures Captains: In the event you need to delete a player from your roster, these policies and procedures apply! - Complete a Player Deletion Form. Be certain to complete it in its entirety; in order to process it, the players full name, USTA Membership Number, Team Code and Captain’s Name all must be legible and accurate. Save the form to your hard drive first; then complete it.
- E-mail the completed document as an attachment to MCTA Leagues Coordinator Carol Cohen (ccohen@mctatennis.org) with a copy to your level coordinator. (If you prefer to print the form and mail it, contact Carol for mailing instructions.)
Note that if the player has not played in any matches, MCTA will always refund its $10 administrative fee. The Maryland District will refund its $18 fee only before season’s start; thereafter, no refund is available except for extenuating circumstances acceptable to the District. The TennisLink user fee (currently $2) is never refundable. Remember that once the Captain signs the Player Deletion form, the player is no longer eligible to participate in match play and “deletions” cannot be reversed. How do I get on a league team? Send an email with your name, phone number, NTRP Level, and league interest to Holly Utt. Holly will make sure captains know of your interest! How do I captain a League Team? Any player willing to captain a league team should contact Carol Cohen. MCTA provides all the training and assistance you need to be a successful captain.
